The Cadillac Florentine was first shown to the public in the Cadillac exhibit at the New York World's Fair. This one-off concept car featured among its innovations rear quarter windows that retracted into the sail panel. The Florentine received little publicity following the World's Fair. While there is no information in the Cadillac archives about what happened to the Florentine after the World's Fair, it is very possible that it has survived and is awaiting its rediscovery.
