On June 10, 1963, the 50 millionth Chevrolet rolled off the assembly line at GM's Tarrytown, NY Plant. This special, gold Impala SS coupe was shipped to a dealer outside Detroit where it was on display for several years. The car has been carefully preserved through out its life and remains in a private collection today.
