1963 GMC Pontiac Assembly Plant Poster
Product Description
This 1963 photo of the "drive-off" area at GMC's Pontiac, Michigan plant provides a view of the large number of trucks that are coming off the assembly lines simultaneously every few minutes. This carefully organized process went on for a minimum of eight hours a day, five days a week so that the completed trucks could be driven out to the storage area to await shipment to the dealers.
